Management Console
The Management Console provides users with a centralized point for administering a variety of tasks such as report creation, administration, security, scheduling and publishing. The tool also allows administrators to perform user management tasks such as setting up users and groups, set security levels and control user access rights.
Additionally the management console provides a separate WYSIWYG report designer, thus separating the format process from the data processing and query layers. Report authors can visually apply enterprise templates to provide a consistent view for reports deployed to users through an easy to use report designer.
Finally, the Management Console enables the IT Department to manage servers that reports are deployed on and accessed by end users.
